Inaprubahan na ng Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) ang request ng Philippine Swimming Incorporated, na maging-host ng 2021 Swimming National Selection Meet sa New Clark City Aquatics Center, Capas, Tarlac, sa ilalim ng bubble-type setup.
Kaugnay nito, ayon Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, ang mga delegate na kabahagi ng aktibidad na ito ay ikokonsidera na bilang Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR), at papayagan na para sa interzonal travel.
Samantala, ang mga atleta na lalahok sa Tokyo Olympics at South East Asian (SEA) Games, ay maaari nang magsimula sa kanilang bubble-type training.
“Athletes bound for the Tokyo Olympics and the South East Asian Games may commence with their bubble-type training, subject to the applicable guidelines of the Philippine Sports Commission, the Games and Amusement Board and the Department of Health.” —Secretary Roque.
Inanunsiyo rin ng kalihim, na inaprubahan na ng IATF ang rekomendasyon ng interim National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (iNITAG), na ipabilang sa prayoridad ng vaccination program ang mga atletang lalahok sa Tokyo Olympics at SEA Games, maging ang mga coach, delegado at mga opisyal.
“Related to this, the IATF approved the Technical Working Group’s recommendation to the Interim National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (iNITAG) to prioritize the vaccination of athletes, coaches, delegates and officials bound for the Tokyo Olympics and the South East Asian Games.” —Secretary Roque.
Ayon kay Secretary Roque, ang frontline employees ng BPO industry at COMELEC ay ipabibilang na rin sa A4 priority group.
“Also, on vaccination, the frontline employees of the business process outsourcing industry and the frontline employees of the Commission on Elections have been recommended to iNITAG to be included in the Priority Group A4.” —Secretary Roque.
Maging ang mga liquefied petroleum gas dealers, retailers at attendants, ay kabilang na sa A4.2 priority list.
“On the other hand, liquefied petroleum gas dealers, retailers and attendants now form part of the approved Priority Group A4.2 for vaccine deployment under the “retail trade operators and frontliners.” —Secretary Roque.
